Plaza History interpreted in videos of artistic collages and historic photographs

Exhibition of Michael Acker’s collages of all four sides of the historic Sonoma Plaza, followed by four short videos of the Plaza’s four sides. This will then be discussed, and questions answered, by a panel of three of Sonoma’s preeminent historians:

·         Bill Lynch, former editor-publisher of the Sonoma Index-Tribune and current Sonoma Alcalde

·         George McKale, Professional Archeologist, former City Historian, and current president of the Sonoma Valley Sister Cities Association

·         Jim Silverman, Founder of the Sonoma Plaza History Project and creator of the video of the four sides of the Sonoma Plaza

Tickets, which will be available through Eventbrite, are free for Sonoma League members and $10.00 each for non-members. A non-member may join the Sonoma League for $25.00 per individual and then all four events will be free.
